Bio's

Naomi - Lead Vocals

Music has always been a core part of my fabric.  Since childhood, I have been singing, dancing and playing instruments - until I officially joined the rock band scene in 2009, singing with various original and cover bands.  My Cuban and Italian heritage fuels my rhythm and the energy I put into every performance.  â€‹For me, music is therapy.  My singing is soulful and comes straight from the heart, because I believe the truest rhythm is the one you feel deep inside.  I love sharing my passion for music and dancing with the crowd, inviting everyone to sing along and feel the raw emotions that music provokes.

Frank C. – Guitar

Frank brings over 30 years of guitar experience to The Bad Cats, following a run in several successful bands. His style blends classic rock, pop, and punk influences, with a love for high-energy, punk-flavored songs that get the crowd moving.

Known for tight rhythms, expressive leads, and a big stage-ready tone, Frank helps drive the band’s sound and delivers the energy and consistency that keep every show exciting.

Chris - Bass and Vocals

Music has always been a huge part of my life, especially Rock and Roll! I started off playing guitar at age 10, quit after 2 years, then picked up the bass guitar at age 16, and have been playing ever since. I have also been singing since seeing The Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show, which gave me the idea of being part of a Band like that! I have played in numerous Cover and Original bands throughout NJ, one of which was fortunate enough to open for John Cafferty and Beaver Brown at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park.
My primary influence is the blues-based 60's & 70's Hard Rock that I grew up with, but I will basically play anything that moves (or moves me!) I had the pleasure of starting the original incarnation of The Bad Cats, and I am looking forward to rocking audiences with the current and best version.

Dennis - Drums

I’ve been behind a drum kit since I was a kid—starting out in school jazz and classical ensembles before moving into local rock and pop bands. Growing up in the classic rock era, I was influenced by prog, jazz, funk, fusion, and straight-ahead rock, and I’ve always focused on feel, timing, and strong musicianship as the foundation of my playing.

After stepping away from performing to focus on career and family, I returned to music with a renewed appreciation for the energy and connection of playing live.

For the past several years, I’ve been part of The Bad Cats, adding drums, percussion, and vocals to help drive the groove and bring depth to the band’s sound.

There’s nothing better than playing great songs with great musicians — especially when the audience is right there with you. I love the energy we create on stage, keeping audiences engaged from the first song to the last. It’s the definition of fun as a musician!

Evan - Guitar, Sax, Vocals

Music has always been a big part of my life. I started on saxophone at age 9 after a school assembly and spent the next 13 years playing alto, tenor, and baritone in bands and orchestras, eventually earning first chair in the University of Florida Jazz Ensemble.

My focus later shifted to rock and roll, inspired by everything from The Animals to Frank Zappa. I picked up guitar, learned quickly, and played in bands throughout high school and college, developing an eclectic taste that ranged from The Who and The Beatles to the Allman Brothers Band and jazz fusion artists like Mahavishnu Orchestra and Return to Forever.

After a long break from playing, I rediscovered my passion in the early 2000s and dove back in—this time bringing both guitar and sax to the table. That versatility helped me connect with other musicians and grow as a player.

I’ve been part of The Bad Cats in various forms for the past several years, and it’s been an incredible experience. Playing high-energy music with a tight group of musicians and sharing that energy with a live audience is what it’s all about—and it’s the most rewarding band experience I’ve had.
